Ray's unique Chinese Internship Program combines Chinese language studies with practical part-time experience in Ray's restaurant, supermarket, reading-room, teacher assistance center or campus bar, getting along with Chinese. After finishing study, internships will be recommended to practice in Chinese big enterprise if they want. This program is ideal for graduate students or professionals interested in improving their Chinese language skills and gaining work experience in China. And they can get 1000 RMB for every month's work.
AIM The Internship component is designed to provide practical experience on business occasions in China, bridging language immersion with a professional work experience in China. A variety of work placements are offered taking into consideration Chinese language ability, professional background, availability and student preference. The Language component complements the Internship experience, immersing participants in Mandarin through class instruction, after-class tutoring, language exchange with native Mandarin speakers, and optional electives. The language course integrates all aspects of the language: reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, phonetics, and vocabulary.

Internship Component The Internship component offers students and professionals work experience in China, pre-Internship training, and assistance in incorporating language with basic office skills and Chinese business practices.
1) Pre-Internship Training A leading specialist in Chinese business culture presents a series of lectures over the duration of one week, offering insights into the practical working culture of a Chinese company or international company operating in China. Topics that are covered include basic business writing skills, answering telephones, and business etiquette.
2) Internship Students can do two-hour part-time job in Ray's restaurant, supermarket, reading-room, teacher assistance center or campus bar, getting along with Chinese and may be recommended in big companies or for advanced study in optional famous universities after the internship time period. Placements are determined by Chinese language level, previous professional background, availability, and student preference. Our Admission Department evaluates all candidates for this program. Companies will have the right to interview students who are matched by Ray's prior to a final placement. Students will be required to complete ongoing evaluation forms pertaining to their work experience placement. |
